What if the helper doesn't show up?
You won't be charged. Full stop. Task Helper holds your payment securely until the job is complete. If a helper can't make it, your job will be reassigned to the next available helper. If anything goes wrong, our support team is here to sort it out.
Can the price change after I've booked?
No. Task Helper calculates a fixed price before you confirm, based on what you've told us about the job. That's the number on your receipt. No negotiating, no surprise invoice, no awkward conversations at the door.
How do I pay?
Your card is pre-authorised when you book, held securely, but not charged yet. Once a helper accepts the job, your card is charged and the payment sits in escrow until the job's done. After you confirm completion, funds are released to your helper within 24 hours. All through the app. No cash, no bank transfers, no awkwardness.
